Why GACR Exists

Advocacy is deeply rooted in education, yet many children, particularly disabled and marginalized youth, lack access to materials that explain their rights clearly. Complex legal language, inaccessible formats, and few inclusive resources leave many children unsure of their rights and how to advocate for themselves. Global Access for Children's Rights (GACR) bridges this gap by providing accessible, youth-friendly education on children’s rights and humanitarian protections. GACR offers clear, easy-to-understand materials and resources designed specifically for children and young people, empowering all children to understand and exercise their rights confidently. GACR resources can be accessed online through the GACR website, where youth and families can find guides, toolkits, and helpful information. Materials are available in accessible formats to ensure that every child, regardless of ability, can learn about their rights and how to use them.

GACR’s Vision

A world where every child, regardless of disability, language, or background, can fully understand, claim, and defend their human rights.
